Tourist sites for the whole family
The Monts de Guéret animal park, the Labyrinth, the Senator’s Museum, 3 of the most visited sites in Creuse. The complex offers a range of outdoor activities or… when it rains.
The animal park, often called “Parc aux Loups” is a must. The fascination exercised by these animals is very real and works on both young and old. Our advice: don’t miss feeding time and the times of year (June) when the little cubs of the year leave the den.
The labyrinth is an opportunity for a family walk guided by questions of general culture. Once out of the meandering vegetation, you can practice the many games (18) more or less traditional…. Fun guaranteed. If you are more sporty, an accrobranche park adjoins the labyrinth.
The Senator’s Museum houses Dutch, Flemish and French paintings (including some from the Impressionists Valley), Celtic and Gallo-Roman archaeological collections. A room is dedicated to Asian arts. Note the natural history cabinet where you can see hundreds of naturalized animals.
