Concert : L’Harmonie de Printemps

After starting out as an orchestral pianist on Broadway, Georges Gershwin was still making a name for himself. His brother Ira Gershwin wrote most of his lyrics, which were soon snapped up by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The creator of symphonic jazz, he made his musicals a triumph, composing film scores and popular songs. Many of his works have become jazz standards.
The Harmonie de Guéret and the Société Philharmonique de La Souterraine have chosen to pay tribute to this great musician by performing some of his greatest hits. An opportunity to (re)discover this unclassifiable and unique universe.
