The concert program invites you to discover the two aspects of Nino Rota's music: scholarly music and film music. The composer left nearly 170 film scores to posterity, and remains forever associated with Italian cinema, for which he wrote the music for La Strada and Visconti?s Le Guépard. But he also made a name for himself with his instrumental, chamber, symphonic and operatic music!
