The White Wolf Trail – countryside race in the forest

Each year, mid-December, the White Wolf Trail takes place in the Monts de Guéret. There are 3 trials: a steep climb and 15km and 45km trails. Thanks to the landscapes and the changes in altitude, this is one of the most beautiful countryside races in central France.

An unmissable countryside race in the heart of France

The trail in set in the Monts de Guéret, the Chabrières forest, the pic du Maupuy (683m), Chiroux hill … It's also important to know that the itinerary changes almost every year and each edition brings its share of surprises especially when the weather is grumbling…

Beyond the pleasure of racing, each edition takes place in friendship. Runners can enjoy a hot meal as soon as they get to the finish and the warm welcome by the people of the Creuse won't disappoint you!

Several countryside races in one weekend

Hostilities traditionally start on Saturday with a steep climb, also affectionately called the "230" (you'll understand why) over a distance of 1.5 km. A strong workout for your heart.

The 45 km (D+1450 according to age) and 15 km (D+545 according to age) starts are on Sunday – early in the morning for the longer race. The number of participants is usually limited: 100 for the steep climb, 200 for the 45 km and 400 for the 15km. It's recommended to closely follow organiser's Facebook page to register within the time limit.
