A crazy concept for everyone!

The 13th Transmillevaches will feature 5 mountain bike circuits and 5 walking distances in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional de Millevaches, with no fewer than 600 participants expected to walk and cycle in the heart of nature.

It’s quite rare to have such a wide range of circuits, with distances ranging from 30 to 100 km for mountain bikers and 7 to 25 km for walkers. As the organizers say, “In our region, when it’s not going downhill, it’s going uphill. There aren’t many flat stretches except by the lake, and even then there are a few steep stretches,” says the members of La Neddoise. The difficulties are the difference in altitude combined with the distance”.

The key word: conviviality!

No spirit of competition in this event. Just pleasure, conviviality, discovery and the great outdoors, with a variety of unranked, untimed leisure trails to suit all technical and physical levels.

Refreshments on the various circuits, with a free drink on return.
Local and organic products in the refreshment area and at the last refreshment point.

A joint event with XTERRA Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Common starting village at Auphelle, opposite the beach. Departures are free between 8am and 9am.

On-site registration possible (+2€).

An exceptional natural setting means preserving the environment. – Spotting, marking out, opening of circuits, unmarking carried out entirely by mountain bike or on foot – A very high proportione (90% for the 2024 edition) of circuits on Natura 2000 sites, requiring collaborative work with the PNR Natura 2000 team prior to prefectoral declarations. – Waste sorting and reusable cups at refreshment stands – Provide containers for refreshments, use reusable jerry cans. – Car-pooling encouraged Objective: to become an ALL-TERRAIN GREEN hike
