Chapelle des Rorgues

Other type of nature site in Marsac
  • In the Middle Ages, the village of Les Rorgues must have been the center of a small parish which, in 1406, was annexed to Marsac. It has preserved its chapel, a rectangular edifice restored with some old features: the long semicircular hedge with a groove-molded ridge. The chapel is panelled and topped by a bell tower. It is dedicated to Saint André. Gallo-Roman burials have also been discovered here.
