All Resistance organizations, networks and movements alike, have been affected by waves of arrests that have weakened them or even caused them to disappear altogether. This conference will review the instruments of German repression and the methods used by the occupying forces to track down resistance fighters, highlighting how they evolved between 1940 and 1944, depending on the context and German objectives.
