This 14th-century carved cross, located by the roadside in Châtenet, was listed by decree on March 9, 1927.
Originally, this cross stood in the heart of the cemetery around the Châtenet church. It has now been moved to a modified square to enhance its value and ensure its safety.

It is a granite cross carved on both sides with the same motif: Christ on the Cross. Above, a head seen from the front touches the crown of the cross (God the Father?). Between this head and that of Christ, a crude figure appears to be a bird (dove of the Holy Spirit?). The whole sculpture could thus represent the Trinity.
