Laurent?s Jusantes series is an arborescence with multiple ramifications: techniques, media, disciplines, shapes and formats, all touching on a reflection on natural cycles in relation to our humanity, ephemerality, absence, recommencement, loss, remembrance and the fear of forgetting, the memory of places, beings and forms. It's also a search for movement, the "gestures" of nature as well as those of the artist at work.
SYLVE-TTE, a living being! SYLVE-TTE, a living being! Alex works mainly with recycled paper, which she uses as a support for her ink drawings. Numerous observations led him to question the tree, and to work on its architecture. This architecture tells stories about communication between trees, their environment and the climate. The architecture of the tree became the subject of his work. And paper pays homage!
