These drawings attempt to express the diversity of links and stories uniting animals and humans. Enchanting and poetic, but sometimes down-to-earth, they invite us to explore the imaginary world of animal-totems. They form part of the illustrations for the book Le Pays du Dragon et autres contes (Dragon Country and Other Tales); some of them are even the starting point for this project, carried out in duo with author Daniel Miles.

Wednesday January 28: Introduction to comic strip drawing, led by Valentin Desfemmes
Like comic strip artists, children will have to translate a scenario into a drawing.
The plates provided have already been filled in, giving the children examples to follow
to follow.
