An engine roars, and two women set off in search of freedom. Like Thelma and Louise, Nolwenn Le Doth and Anna Pabst hit the road, covering 990 km, collecting stories, videos and sounds to feed their new creation.
As they travel through and replay their memories and images of the film Thelma et Louise, the actresses weave links between themselves and the emblematic heroines of the road-movie. It's an opportunity to reflect, with humor and sensitivity, on the film's major themes: sisterhood, male domination, the journey of initiation, the supposed misandry of the film at the time of its release?
Ridley Scott's work thus gives birth to a new story, very much in tune with our times.
