Much more than a cinema, Le Sénéchal is first and foremost a place where everyone in the Creuse comes together. Located in the heart of Guéret, it offers a wide range of films of all genres throughout the year to suit all tastes.

Le Sénéchal is an Art et Essai cinema, with the “young audience”, “research and discovery” and “heritage” labels.It’s a dynamic cultural venue that offers a year-round programme of events combining cinema with many other artistic fields.

Nathalie Baye has been patron of the Sénéchal since 1999.
