Fernand Maillaud was a painter and artist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Originally from the Indre region, he was often drawn to the Creuse to paint his landscapes.

Getting there

Fernand Maillaud bought a plot of land in Guéret, on which he built a house he nicknamed the Renabec. He set up a workshop there, and came there regularly in the summers.

Fernand Maillaud’s descendants have opened the doors of this fabulous house, in which everything was created by the artist or his family: a real treasure trove!

An association of Fernand Maillaud’s friends was set up in the summer of 2012. They invite you to discover or share their passion for the painter on this website: https: //sites.google.com/site/amisdefernandmaillaud/home
