The Monts de Guéret offer an ideal playground for climbing enthusiasts, combining unspoiled nature and sporting challenges. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber, two iconic sites await you: Glénic’Grimpe, an artificial structure allowing you to learn or train year-round, and the natural site of Maupuy, where routes through the forest offer a unique experience in the heart of the massif. Come push your limits and enjoy an exceptional setting to practice climbing in complete serenity !

Glénic'Grimpe

Enjoy climbing and experience the thrill of climbing at Glénic’Grimpe, a climbing structure built on the Glénic viaduct! You’ll be secured with automatic rope reels, allowing you to climb in complete safety.

The activity is located a 10-minute drive from Guéret and is accessible to everyone from the age of 5.

To ensure optimal performance, the following weight restrictions apply: minimum 20 kg and maximum 110 kg.

⚠️ Please note! During the off-season, Glénic’Grimpe is only available for groups and by reservation at +33 6 32 95 30 43 (Station Sports Nature des Monts de Guéret).

Climbing at Maupuy : an exceptional natural setting

With its old quarries and unique terrain, the Maupuy site is a prime location for climbing enthusiasts. Located near Guéret, it offers a remarkable natural setting and walls suitable for experienced climbers. Divided into three distinct sectors, it offers 49 routes with varied profiles, enough to satisfy enthusiasts looking for new challenges.

Climbing at the Maupuy site is an activity that can be practiced freely and at your own risk. This site is exclusively for experienced and equipped climbers.
