The network is evolving

Optimising the network from 6 January 2025

Thanks to feedback from users and drivers since the reorganisation of the transport network, minor adjustments will be made from the start of the new school year.

These will mainly consist of improving the fluidity of certain connections.

In addition, the urban TAD (transport on demand) service, which serves the least frequented stops in Guéret, is evolving and becoming more flexible: you will be able to choose to get off at an Agglo’Bus stop in the Guérét area, including the nine newly created stops: Allendé, Clinique de la Marche, Anna Quinquaud, IME Grancher, Auvergne, Jean Moulin, Brésard, Sylvain Blanchet and Tabarly.

These adjustments do not entail any major upheaval to the timetables and offer greater comfort in using the transport services.

The Tad Rural to tourist sites

The rural Tad now serves a number of tourist attractions in the Greater Guéret area: Parc Animalier des Loups de Chabrières and Parc Aventure de Chabrières, the Anzême and Jouillat leisure centres, Guéret Saint-Laurent airfield and the Glénic Viaduct.

If you don’t have a car, you can take advantage of the Agglo’Bus mobility scheme to get to these activities.

Cycling between Guéret and Saint-Fiel

The cycle link between Guéret and Saint-Fiel, inaugurated in November 2024, provides a safe, 2.5-metre-wide route linking Guéret town centre to the Saint-Fiel eco-district. The route, which is around 5 kilometres long, takes around twenty minutes to reach Place Bonnyaud.

The scheme is part of the Communauté d’Agglomération du Grand Guéret’s ” Schéma Vélo “, adopted in June 2024, which aims to promote soft mobility and encourage the use of bicycles for everyday travel. This route is also an asset for tourists wishing to take advantage of cycle paths during their stay.
