The Archives Départementales de la Creuse has a number of missions: it advises on document preservation, collects and classifies, preserves and communicates. Here you can find archive collections dating from before 1940, the library, and the educational and cultural service.
Every year, the Archives Départementales designs and presents to the public exhibitions designed to showcase the written heritage in their care.
