Eglise Saint-Léon - Measnes

  • This Romanesque church, dedicated to Saint-Léon, was rebuilt in 1942 and inaugurated in 1943. The former church is thought to have been built in the 12th century. This church is rectangular. The portal, the right chevet wall and three flat Romanesque buttresses remain. The north door, once preceded by a wooden canopy, has a broken line and is molded with a torso (14th century). The sacristy has an exterior door with an accolade. The bell tower is of timber-framed construction.
