  • Sainte-Valérie church, known as the Moutier church, was founded in the early 12th century and remodeled in the 15th century. Of particular note from this second building campaign is the bell tower, remarkable for its flamboyant ogival style, with its high square tower flanked by an octagonal turret adorned with statues and gargoyles. From the top of the bell tower, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Felletin and the Plateau de Millevaches.

From the top of the bell tower, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Felletin and the Plateau de Millevaches.

    The real treasures of this church are inside: frescoes from different periods and in different styles. As well as painted wooden statues from the 12th, 15th and 19th centuries, and richly decorated 17th-century altarpieces. The building was completely restored between 1992 and 1998, and educational panels provide an in-depth tour.
