La Chapelle Médiévale De Saint-Paul

Historic site and monument, Church in Tercillat
  • This granite chapel, adorned with remarkable modillions* on the façade, was first mentioned in the 11th century.
Its stonework and funerary remains are of great architectural interest.

*A modillion is an architectural element generally used to support a cornice, eaves or balcony. They differ from corbels in that they are roughly carved, depending on the materials used.
