“The church of the village”
Spend a moment with Janine and you’ll have only one thought, come back to this village of 300 inhabitants. Don’t be fooled by appearances, your Greeter has got some surprises in store for you!
She’ll take you following in the footsteps of a curious abbot who 70 years ago had a monumental tower built just to welcome tourists; you’ll discover a church cut in two and guarded by Mercury and two several-centuries old lions.
Janine will tell you how, thanks to her grandfather and the vagaries of life, she became, a little reluctantly, the curator of Merovingian sarcophagi!
Finally, listen well! It’s Janine singing the praises of Toulx Ste Croix.
