Our land-based activities
Mountain biking and road cycling
The Monts de Guéret FFC mountain-biking site is spread throughout the region, in the heart of the green hills of Chabrières, Maupuy and Puy des 3 Cornes , and along country lanes, with over 720 km of signposted, well-maintained and safe circuits. You can ride at your own pace on trails suited to your level of ability.
For the more energetic, there are also itinerant routes, such as the Tour VTT des Monts de Guéret, the route of which can be downloaded in .gpx format, and the Grande Traversée VTT de la Creuse, which also covers a number of trails in the Monts de Guéret area.

For lovers of road cycling, the Station Sports Nature des Monts de Guéret, in conjunction with the Conseil Départemental de la Creuse, offers 3 signposted local loops (from 15 to 35 km) for a family discovery ride and/or circuits from 69 to 136 km (downloadable) for the more sporty. The Trail
At the heart of theEspace Trail des Monts de Guéret, you can span gorges, mountains and valleys, leap from path to path, from stone to root, and run through the magnificent landscapes and lush green hills of the Maupuy and Chabrières massifs.

Hiking
With altitudes varying from 300 to 687 m, in the heart of a forest covering more than 2,500 hectares, on the plains or along the Creuse gorges, the Monts de Guéret are ideal for hiking and Nordic walking. Your walks are also an opportunity to discover a rich natural and archaeological heritage, while exploring medium-sized mountain trails.

Leisure centres
In the communes of Anzême and Jouillat, the Péchadoire and Lavaud beaches offer two bathing facilities in July and August, as well as a range of leisure activities in the heart of the Creuse valley. These two beaches have been extensively upgraded over the last two years, offering a wide range of activities close to tourist accommodation (campsites and gîtes). Each site also has a bar-restaurant and picnic area.

Take to the skies!
Chabrières Adventure Park
The Chabrières Adventure Parkinvites youto discover the forest in a different way. With its 3 courses and its net zone, young and old, alone, with family, friends or in a group, you’ll go from tree to tree on sensational workshops. In complete serenity, you’ll make your way through the coniferous trees of the Chabrières forest, where emotion, pleasure and thrills are guaranteed!
